Teachers and tutors
We hope that you find our resources helpful for your teaching and tutoring.
Our resources for Key Stages 1 and 2 are fully comprehensive and include full details of the course and the suggested teaching strategies. It is a very mathematical course, designed for all learners. We have included:
- Detailed lesson plans for each lesson (140 pages for each year)
- Interactive versions of all the questions in the Key Stage 2 resources
- Extra mastery questions to monitor progress
- Intervention questions for extension, reinforcement and support.
We have similar support for our Key Stage 3 resources with introductions to each Unit of work, text and answers with an interactive version, revision questions and activities for support. We provide extra questions for each Unit and Unit tests throughout. We also provide outline lesson plans. Similarly for Key Stage 4 (GCSE) and a range of resources for Core Maths and A-Level topics.
The Core Maths resources are based on the common topics in Core Maths and provide both resources and an online assessment facility to monitor progress and provide certification.
A number of our resources require a password to access them. These files are usually marked with a (P). You can request a password by sending an email to feedback@cimt.org.uk

Continuing Professional Development
Continuing Professional Development (CPD) is important for teachers to engage with during the course of their career. CIMT currently offers the opportunity to study for an MA in Mathematics Education with the University of Plymouth, as well as online support to enhance non-maths specialist teachers' subject knowledge.
