Continuing Professional Development
Continuing Professional Development (CPD) is important for teachers to engage with during the course of their career. CIMT currently offers the opportunity to study for an MA in Mathematics Education with the University of Plymouth, as well as online support to enhance non-maths specialist teachers' subject knowledge.
CPD opportunities
MA Mathematics Education
This fully online masters degree course gives teachers the opportunity to study for a higher degree alongside their existing teaching role. Level 7 credits achieved from PGCE courses can be used as part of the 180 credits for a masters degree.
Subject Knowledge Enhancement
These resources covering topics up to higher level GCSE were developed to support Teaching Subject Specialism Training Courses in maths. The resources are freely available to use with assessment and certification available for a small fee. Email feedback@cimt.org.uk for further details.
